I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (license #70885) in the state of Texas. I am the founder of Waypower Counseling, PLLC, and I love my job. I became a counselor because I love people. I believe that mental health is the key to a fulfilling and purposeful life, and everyone deserves that. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in counseling from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Over the past decade I’ve worked as a licensed counselor in various settings ranging from K-12 schools to hospitals to juvenile detention to private practice. All of that experience has ultimately landed me here. At Waypower Counseling, I specialize in working with adult individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transition challenges.
